The Founders Clubhouse, located near the beach in Encinitas, is an inclusive professional and social club for entrepreneurs, investors, and startup people. It’s a place to meet, create, and build together through shared space, curated events, and a community that supports one another’s growth. More than just networking, the Clubhouse is where entrepreneurs build together.

Building a company can be lonely, but it doesn't have to be. We are starting Founders' Clubhouse to connect entrepreneurs with a community of fellow builders and mentors. Whatever is blocking you, the Founders' Clubhouse community is there to help you break through.
Expert access: Regular expert office hours, member-led workshops, and guest speakers to help you solve real startup challenges.
Peer connection: Curated groups and mentor circles that match you with founders working on similar goals—from fundraising to product-market fit.

The Clubhouse is a vibrant shared space for entrepreneurs located near the beach in Encinitas. Fueled by unlimited coffee and wifi, members can use the common area coffee lounge for casual meetings and conversations, shared worktables and standing desks to code up a new feature or get through their inbox, our Brainstorming Room to develop the next big idea, the Founders' Clubhouse Podcast Studio to record those conversations you want to share with the world, Private Meeting Rooms with video conferencing to nail that investor meeting or customer demo, and our community spaces to host team sessions, work on big ideas, and push your company forward.

I'm building Founders' Clubhouse to share what I’ve learned about supporting entrepreneurs and building community and to help make San Diego the best place to start and grow a great company. I’m a third-generation San Diegan who grew up right here in Encinitas. For the past decade, I’ve been a Managing Director at Techstars, running startup accelerators around the world (including launching Techstars San Diego powered by San Diego State University), investing in more than 130 companies, and mentoring hundreds of founders. Locally, I serve on the board of Startup San Diego, where I’ve helped grow our local startup ecosystem. I still live in Encinitas with my family, our cat, and nine chickens, and I’m a big fan of the Padres, SDFC, fish tacos, and people who build things.
